Blue Sky Theatre is bringing The Three Musketeers to the garden in 2027 — a swashbuckling summer adventure full of danger, romance and laughs.
This lively adaptation of Alexandre Dumas’ classic opens with D’Artagnan setting off for Paris in search of adventure, only to find far more than he bargained for. His tomboy sister, Sabine, won’t be left behind: she disguises herself as his servant and quickly becomes swept up in the action.
In Paris, D’Artagnan joins forces with Athos, Porthos and Aramis — the legendary musketeers — to defend the honour of the Queen of France and face down the formidable Cardinal Richelieu. But the most dangerous enemy of all may be Milady, the notorious Countess de Winter, whose revenge puts both D’Artagnan and Sabine in her sights.
Will heroism triumph, or will their enemies have the last word?
The production tours beautiful outdoor venues in a Victor Harbor garden, The Cedars in Hahndorf, Duneira Estate in Mount Macedon and Carrick Hill across four weekends in January 2027. Starring Louis Bianchini, Leighton Vogt, Thomas Midena, Sebastian Hollingsworth, Gary George, Rachel Dalton, Imogen Deller-Evans, Ashley Bell, Lee Cook, Simon Barnett, Laura Antoniazzi, Joshua Coldwell and Trevor Anderson, and directed, as usual, by Dave Simms.
Tickets go on sale October 1.
